HEARTS OF THE FATHERS
HEARTS OF THE FATHERS
Hearts Of The Fathers is a Missional group currently meeting in our own homes, with the goals of building community at a grass roots level and seeing the Lord establish a larger self sustained eco-friendly master planned small community with a church right in the middle of the community. Our goals include some of the following as the Lord allows it to scale:
Currently: To Pray, Plan and Provide, what we can right now to individuals who God directs for encouragement and counsel. To inform others who can join in prayers for the larger community of Kalamazoo as well as the future vision realized.
Near Future: Hopeful, Christ-centered life and vocational advice, as well as offering rotational mentorship training and a Bible institute level equipping to whomsoever would want to live within the community or outside the community who want to join in the efforts to establish a new colony and abide by the ways of God.
Hope Colony
Lord willing He will scale this vision in the future in a larger home and community centered church in the middle of the small community of tiny homes, in a safe countryside residential setting away from the many social influences that encumber many, who are struggling to overcome housing, financial and vocational needs. However, for now, we assemble and plan and invite others of like mind to pray and plan.
Our mission goals are to equip individuals by rotational teaching and mentorship involvement by men and women from our church and others of like mind. Our goals are: Promote a colony co-op. To equip healthy or broken families with practical skills and spiritual guidance, so that they can enjoy the grace of life and become productive fathers, mothers, sons and daughters and individuals that reflect God's blessings of faith, family and hope.
Golden Age of Hope Colony Realized
Our fully realized vision is a holistically operational colony of people of all walks especially with emphasis on both young and old, living with similar life goals of working with our hands, leading a quiet life and minding our own business.
This promotes the free will exchange of goodwill towards men. A concept born in the pages of the gospel writers as the angel heralded the coming of the Son of God. As we follow through with God's ways we can live together, marry each other, work with each other or be free to go into ALL THE WORLD with the same message of the gospel, wherever the Lord would lead.
Will you prayerfully consider helping by prayer, donation, or supporting our missions that we as a group plan along the way? We have been called to assemble an expanding army of Christ followers of all ages (Intergenerational) and walks of life. Any funds donated ARE NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE, but used to fund our outreaches to our neighbors and hospitality dinners and pot lucks. So we would rather have your prayers, physical help and fellowship.
Our main objective as the Lord provides the new land or infrastructure, is for a good core group of families of faithful men and women, to develop a holistic colony or village to be near and with the poor, the brokenhearted, the captives, the blind, the oppressed, the widows, the orphans, the elderly, and the lonely. Luke 4:18
Eventually, we also want to provide a gentle countryside colonial residence that is, hospitable, restorative, vocationally focused. We will do this through, interacting within the church's participation in the small township, having commerce with one another, on the job training, friends, homeschooling, life on life related activities, task related and vocational homemaking and work experienced skilled retired or active mentors, paired with unskilled guests and residents in Hope Colony as the Lord provides for it. 2 Tim 2:2
The intent is to bring real help to real people who want to follow the real God, Who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. 1Tim 2:4
By helping to equip people with a Bible education and vocation it helps to provide them with the fundamentals of God's ways. It gives increase to order in society and investment into it's people, by transformation of those who come for help.
The intended purpose is also as this scripture says: that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, 12 that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing. 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
"so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody." 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
"May I always know the real-time needs of my brother or sister. May I study hard after every person’s needs. May I gently draw near to them with a truly inquiring heart. To sit with them a while, until the mask is fallen off and the idle words stop…until God shows me how to meet their needs and to see and serve their real self in Christ's strong arms of care". John O'Keefe 2024
Join our Missional group to biblically equip men and women, by going into the world and being near or with the poor, broken hearted, captive, blind and oppressed, widows, orphans, and elderly to provide gentle countryside hospitality, restoration, strong vocational direction and fellowship. It is His Plan. Isa 58:6-12

To provide vocational and biblical training and to link skilled mentor/partners with unskilled residents of all ages and cultural types at our facility once fully funded. We want to do this, so that all who become residents, may learn the ways of God: That they work with their hands, lead a quiet life and tend to their own affairs. The intended purpose, is as this scripture says as believers: "so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody." 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
There are many who have fallen through the cracks of a broken world system. Our prayer is that we would fulfill mission aims, which are, to be near them and with them, while in those hard places, with the hope of the gospel and vocational help.

We have been blessed as a missional group of Calvary Bible Church with eight members and partners that are passionately and prayerfully committed to the goal of seeing these actionable objectives achieved. At the recommendation of our pastor. We started praying and planning for launch, in late 2022. It is our goal as local representatives of Christs church to follow through with the command to go into our local area...and provide Christian witness and vocational access to help, those we are discipling to become those who disciple others.
We are always looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help us make a difference in the lives of our future guests and residents. Whether you are a volunteer, donor, or partner, we welcome your support.
We love our partners. We would love to hear from you and meet with you. Call or email and request more information, a visit or call.
